Celtics trash Knicks, Lakers bear Nuggets

The Celtics won with their biggest lead since 1970 after a 104-59 whopping of the Knicks. The Boston Big Three played only less than 30 minutes each with both Allen and Pierce scoring 21 and Garnett with only 8 points. The Lakers bench stepped up again, with Sasha Vujacic leading the charge with 22 points, as the Lakers pulled away in the fourth to rout the Nuggets 127-99. The Lakers were leading by only at the end of the 3rd. While Kobe, who had 24 points, was resting on the bench and ended up resting the final period, Vujacic had 19 points in the quarter and the Lakers outscored the Nuggets 46-24.
