Dallas in finals
The Mavericks clamped down on the Suns' offense to win 102-93 and advance to its first NBA finals appearance. Nowitzki had 16 of his 24 points in the second half, and Josh Howard added 20 points and 15 rebounds to lead the Mavericks. Boris Diaw scored 30 points took 11 rebounds for the Suns.
